The role


To assist Nettitude in becoming a renowned market leading managed provider of managed security and support services.


Network & Security Analyst is a self-driven person, and able to work well individually and part of the strong NOC Manage team. You are an analytical thinker with a drive to solve problems, work under pressure and be proactive in challenging situations.


You will be working on 1st & 2d Line Network support, and will be required to take customer network issues, understand the problem, triage it appropriately. You will work alongside with 3rd line NOC engineers and NOC manage consultants and will assist to expedite and resolve support desk cases to the customer satisfactory level.


You will have knowledge and some experience in OSI or TCP/IP stack and appreciation of support and service transition, ability to work on a support desk operates in ITIL framework.


You will have experience of working in a large multi-client solution provider with a rapidly expanding customer base.





This role is based in Greece. The role is office-based with some flexible remote working. All applicants will require residence in Greece.



What you’ll be doing in your role:


In your role you will need to:

  • Act as a first point of contact for incidents and service requests raised over the phone and support desk ticketing system
  • Carry out triaging of support desk cases within SLAs, and escalate to 2nd line, any 3rd parties and Vendors where required
  • Manage and follow up on-going incidents and service requests, keep them up to date
  • Carry out daily, weekly, monthly proactive checks and works for managed customers
  • Keep an eye for NOC network/device monitoring alerts, and react, where required escalate well within SLAs
  • Acquire high level understanding of the customer networks
  • Update NOC Backend systems with up-to-date information related to customer devices, etc
  • Assist with generating reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
  • Assist with new customer on boarding
  • Keep up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities
  • Liaise with Account managers



 Key Skills:

  • Excellent communications skills with a positive and proactive attitude towards customer issues
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working on NOC support desk operating on ITIL Framework
  • Experience with Support desk ticket handling within SLAs
  • Understanding of networking including IP addressing, subnets, Routing, DNS, etc.
  • Experience with Firewall administration preferably Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortigate
  • Demonstratable troubleshooting skills and ability to use Network analysis tools, (Wireshark, PCAP)
  • Associate level certifications in core Networking or firewall technology platforms (CCNA /PCCET)
  • ITIL qualification or awareness of the ITIL processes (desirable)
  • Experience of working in a multi-client solutions provider (desirable)
