Role purpose:

 

The Global Resourcing Manager will be responsible for supporting the Service Delivery Manager with the recruiting, onboarding and management of all the Auditors across the Global Business Assurance areas of Aquaculture, Fisheries, Retail, Food Assurance and Hospitality.  Supporting the Audit teams to ensure adequate resource is the right areas to ensure delivery of service is delivered to a high standard. Working alongside the Service Delivery Manager and other Senior Managers and the Leadership Team across Business Assurance as one team to ensure all areas are supported working collaboratively together to ensure effective ways of working for Clients allowing LRQA to be  forward planning and adding value where required to Clients suggesting solutions and innovation as required.

 

The Global Resourcing Manager will play an integral role within the Team to ensure LRQA have the right auditor in the right location to achieve delivery of service on time to clients.

 

The Global Resourcing Manager will play an integral role within the Team to support delivery of services to ensure this is delivered to a high standard by inputting into KPI’s/specification of LRQA clients across all areas. Ensuring that the certification process is delivered in accordance with accreditation requirements and scheme owner KPIs; Managing the Auditor team through onboarding, training, shadow & Witness Assessments and performance reviews. Liaising with key clients as to status of Auditors and ultimately ensuring delivery of first class customer service experience within the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Service Delivery Manager with the Recruitment, onboarding and day to day communication with the Auditors ensuring all LRQA requirements are met as part of the on boarding process.

Along with the Service Delivery Manager Lead, Manage and develop the team of auditors.

Oversee the financial aspects of Auditors, ensuring they are in the correct locations with the right competencies.

Outline the targeted area and method for recruitment.

Working with Operational teams and Clients to understand the resourcing needs.

Liaise with the Business Operational leads in country to work together to combine resource plans.

Manage the Pipeline of auditor talent within productivity model.

Attend where relevant and support UK & Global teams with strategic, industry and key account review meetings.

Input into and support with the training programme for auditors.

Take a lead role in providing technical business development expertise for existing and potential customers as an expert advisor to the LRQA commercial function.

Plan and Co-ordinate all recruitment and onboarding for Auditors.

Manage the resourcing platforms for Auditor Talent liaising with key central teams as required.

Assist the Group Accreditation Manager with Auditor compliance with the requirements of ISO17065 and LRQA’s Internal Audit system in accordance with Accreditation Body requirements and LRQA’s Quality Procedures as and when required.

Create an auditor productivity model.

Work closely with allocations and planning team to ensure productivity model is effective.

Working closely with Senior Managers and IT to ensure the use of efficient systems.

Be agile and able to change direction at any time if circumstances change for Client and audit – highlighting any challenges/issues to always ensure KPI’s are communicated and met.

Support the Accreditation information required for auditors and tracking of compliance to this.

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:

Qualification in related field of one of our business areas of Retail, Aquaculture, Fisheries, Hospitality, Agriculture or Processing (Food Assurance)

5 Year’s industry experience within one of the Business Assurance areas.  

Experience at managing accreditation certification schemes for food and beverage, including aquaculture and fisheries

Demonstrable and up-to-date knowledge within at least one of the business areas of Retail, Aquaculture, Fisheries, Hospitality, Agriculture & Processing (Food Assurance)

HACCP

Awareness of food industry legislation and Codes of Practice

Knowledge of quality assurance schemes within food supply chains
