Role purpose:

Supply is a service which offers a range of end to end assurance services from supplier risk assessments, desk top reviews, auditing, menu management, specifications, claims and allergen verification. Animal welfare to sustainability and environmental responsibility and customer complaints management giving a complete end to end range of assurance services and Brand Protection for food and Drink Suppliers.

 

Reporting to the Compliance & Technical Assurance Manager, the Supply Technical Officer will be a key member of the Technical & Product Assurance team and will manage and deliver clients requirements and services for supply. Ensuring they meet the requirements of the LRQA standards, Quality Procedures and KPI’s. The Supply Technical Officer will also work closely with team members in the Customised Assurance Team and globally to deliver this service.

 

The Supply Technical Officer will play an integral role in working with clients, suppliers and LRQA Globally in developing a growing portfolio of services to customers, working in close collaboration with all parts on the business Globally across Customised Assurance and LRQA.

 

The Supply Technical Officer will manage and oversee the Supply Services including Supplier Audits, Risk Assessments, Desk Top Reviews, Specifications, Allergens, Nutrition, Claims and Supplier Compliance and help with the development, operation, training and administration of all Supply Services.

 

The Supply Technical Officer will be responsible for ensuring that each part of the process is running on time giving the teams status reports and updates to ensure deliver of the schemes on time.

 

 

Taking a lead role in expanding and enhancing services for Supply and LRQA.

 

 

 

 

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Food Science/Nutrition Degree or equivalent Degree
  • Experience within a Nutrition or Food manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of UK food manufacturing practices and process
  • Knowledge of Food hygiene and HACCP principle and practices
  • Food Industry Knowledge
  • Nutritional regulations, including allergen
  • Labelling Regulations
  • IT and MS Office literate
  • Knowledge of Excel
