The role


There is an exciting opportunity for a presales engineer, or an individual experienced with network security solutions, to join our Pre-sales team at Nettitude.

Using your experience, you will help our clients build out their cyber security strategies with the support of Nettitude’s subject matter experts. 


This role requires a highly motivated individual, who can work independently as well as working with our Sales, Technical, and Bid Management teams by delivering Pre-sales assistance. This will be delivered both onsite in front of clients, when appropriate, as well as remotely via teleconferencing.


You will have responsibility for assisting the sales team by conducting types of activities such as scoping engagements, constructing Bill of Materials, providing technical expertise for clients, and being involved in bids and RFPs.

You must be personable and be able to work in harmony with all other personnel and to communicate in an open and courteous manner with colleagues and clients.



What you will be doing in your role:


  • Support the Security and Network solutions (SNS) Team, providing technical pre-sales assistance, specifically around Network solutions and Security vendor products.
  • Technical scoping of network consultancy engagements and scoping potential security product sales.
  • Constructing SOW’s and BOM’s to enable accurate pricing of Network and Security vendor solutions.
  • Completing pre-sales training and certifications for specific security vendor products and providing pre-sales scoping.
  • Assessing new vendor technology for the Nettitude portfolio.
  • Constructing and presenting tailored presentations to clients based on their requirements.



Key skills:


Must have skills:

  • A strong understanding of Network architecture and security vendor products.
  • Must have experience of designing LAN and security solutions for customers, working with vendor technologies.
  • Will be able to demonstrate a strong Network architecture background, experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point and Fortinet.
    • Experience of selling managed network Services
    • Strong customer facing skills and being able to present technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
    • Strong written and verbal English skills would be required. The ability to create and scope technical RFP documents for client tender responses.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Ability to act as a Trusted Advisor to our customers.

Desirable skills:


  • Wide industry knowledge of the Security vendor marketplace.
  • Working knowledge of web proxies, load balancers and CASB solutions, such as ZScaler, Claroty or Attivo, and holding pre-sales technical certifications in these areas.
  • Experience in OT Network security
  • Experience in delivery of high-level design, low-level design, build and deployment of network and infrastructure security solutions.
