The role

Location

 

This role is remote and is open to applicants in the UK and US. Flexible working/home working opportunities available.

 

 

What you’ll be doing in your role:

 

Strategic Direction

  • Define product strategy. This is inclusive of gathering and prioritizing requirements, defining the vision for the product, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that the financial and consumer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Ensure product positioning is differentiated, supports the brand, is value driven and wrapped in a compelling proposition to reach the right customer at the right time through the right channel
  • Benchmark product offering against the competition, market, and technology trends
  • Create and update business cases for product change activity
  • Contribute to win/loss analysis to gain insight from key accounts on opportunities

 

Deliver Change

  • Maintain & communicate product roadmap and release plans
  • Initiate & support new developments in line with the strategy defined by the Board
  • Provide a product scope via documented requirements, use cases, epics, and stories to support agile scrum teams in the development of new products or in the implementation of ongoing product enhancements
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of change programmes for ongoing product enhancement
  • Plan & manage end of life actions across the business
  • Work to agreed methodologies to drive the right business processes and outcomes

 

Create focus & alignment

  • For new products and enhancements, agree go to market plans with relevant stakeholders and ensure readiness for launch across key business functions
  • Contribute to the development of product position and pricing in line with the commercial function

 

Thought leadership

  • Attend and contribute to productive, results driven customer forums/engagements with power users to identify new opportunities and capture improvement actions
  • Represent the business and promote the products by advocating for their value and benefits at executive briefings, marketing events, social media, etc

 

 

Key Skills:

 

The following are the requirements for this role:

 

  • Proven experience in Product Management including development, launch and life-cycle execution
  • Technical background, preferably with an engineering or computer science/software degree and ideally within the cyber security domain or a related IT space
  • Ability to lead, teach, present, and inspire the wider team
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Strong written and speaking English skills.
