Role Purpose:

 

 

This is an exciting time for a new PA to join the business to work alongside the CEO’s Executive Assistant to provide exemplary professional support to a portfolio of Executive Leaders to enable them to be successful and effective.   This role will interact with senior leaders as well as external stakeholders/clients and requires the candidate to be flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.   As this role interacts with senior stakeholders’ expert communication skills, strong decision-making ability, attention to detail and proven capability to complete tasks to deadlines and prioritise your own work using your own discretion and judgement are critically important.

 

 

 

You will:

 

 

Reporting to the CEO’s Executive Assistant you will provide seamless support to a portfolio of Executive Leaders and assist them with manage a busy and complex calendar of meetings and commitments.   Alongside this you will support the scheduling of travel plans, itineraries and agendas to ensure they are in the right place at the right time.   Working closely with the Executive Assistant you will work across a broad range of confidential and top-level tasks to ensure the team are effective in their roles. 

 

 

 

You will have:

 

 

  • A proven track record of working as a Personal Assistant across your previous roles, preferably within the professional services industry (industry not essential)
  • Understands this role is all about having a great work ethic, where you arrive with a smile every day and a spring in your step
  • Ability to juggle different tasks, effectively prioritise and manage competing demands
  • Have informed opinions on key issues and actively participate in decision-making processes and proximity to decision-makers
  • You’re smart, switched on and hungry to learn, with a real can-do attitude
  • Have bags of enthusiasm, drive and integrity, and tonnes of common sense
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey clear and compelling messages, flexing tone and style to suit the situation, always with a professional manner
  • Outstanding people skills and strong emotional intelligence, always being able to “read the room”
  • Dealt with private and confidential matters and can demonstrate absolute discretion in all situations, even when put on the spot
  • You’ll naturally have gravitas and credibility, which you’ll enjoy developing as part of your skillset
  • A great attention to detail, especially when you’re up against it, as well as being highly organised, with an excellent working system goes without saying
  • Be personable, honest and confident; saying if somethings gone wrong, so it can be dealt with and fixed
  • Resilient and able to think and act appropriately when the working environment is, at times, stressful and highly demanding
  • Have an inventive and creative approach to problem solving, understanding that nothing is an issue, and every challenge can be overcome
  • Able to think ahead, proactively seeing off issues before they get bigger
  • Experienced in efficiently balancing multiple tasks at any given time
  • Flexible in your attitude to working out of hours, appreciating at times it’s what will be required to get the job done.
  • Solid understanding of all MS Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel technical savvy and the ability to learn new software quickly and be comfortable with email and internet.
