We have recently announced that Business Assurance and Inspection Services + Nettitude will be leaving the LR Group and will become a standalone business (LRQA) under the ownership of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. It’s an exciting time to join our business as we have ambitious growth plans. We are looking for talented people to join our business to help build on our strengths and transform our business to be the best partner for our customers.

Who are LRQA?

LRQA stands for dedication to clients, market firsts, and deep expertise in risk management. We’ve grown to become a leading global assurance provider, bringing together outstanding expertise in certification, customised assurance, cybersecurity, inspection, and training.

We help businesses negotiate a changing risk landscape and look towards a more sustainable future. Working with us will provide organisations with the support they need to manage risk and stay on top in the market – today, tomorrow, and beyond.

What do LRQA do?

The purpose that drives us every single day is: Shaping a better world together.  In pursuing this purpose, we serve a huge variety of markets including:

  • Quality, Environment, Health and Safety

  • Food, beverage and hospitality

  • Medical

  • Automotive, Aerospace and Transportation

  • Infosec and Cyber

  • Sustainability and Climate Change

The future of business assurance is exciting and rapidly changing, with new challenges and threats arising all the time, such as the COVID pandemic and climate change. And LRQA are adapting, for example delivering 2000 remote safety audits of farms.

What are you going to do?

  • Follow up all company generated leads in a timely manner, ensuring the correct level of customer discovery, to maximise the sales opportunities

  • Manage and nurture key relationships with existing customers, to ensure LRQA is well positioned to grow revenue with them year on year, through the introduction of new products and services.

  • Proactively work on prospecting and networking to develop self-generated leads to enable the correct level of sales pipeline and sales to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

  • Maintain comprehensive, up to date records on the company’s CRM system, including records of all calls, emails, meetings, proposals, etc. and the use of task management to set appropriate follow up actions and next steps.

  • Work closely with marketing colleagues to ensure the correct level of sales activity to follow up on local campaigns and other marketing initiatives.

  • Maintain competence to produce accurate proposals based on certification requirements for each product you are authorised to sell.

  • Stay abreast of business activity in your sector(s) of sales operation, to ensure you can support customer requirements and develop new sales opportunities through this knowledge.

  • Develop and enhance LRQA’s profile within the target markets through the strategic relationships and alliances with the relevant regulatory, industry and technical organisations.

What we are looking for?

  • Professional expert with an intermediate/higher degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales in the conformity assessment sector (e.g. certification, inspection or laboratory) or consultant with a clear customer and results orientation, with negotiation and resolution of problems skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence clients and colleagues to deliver excellence.

  • Strong understanding of business and marketing principles.

  • Self-motivated with “can do” attitude and ability to work in a highly technical environment.

  • Committed to continuous personal development through continually looking for opportunities to improve sales skills.

  • Self-motivated and willing to take the initiative.

  • Aptitude to work without direct supervision.

  • Fluent English skills in both written and verbal communications.

What does LRQA offer?

We offer you a challenging and varied role, where you will visit large reputable companies. The diversity of assignments makes it fun and challenging for you to go out every time.
