Business Development Manager - Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway


Role purpose

To develop and win business opportunities with target major accounts, build and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase revenue on an annual basis and contribute fully to global business opportunities as part of the bid team.


Key responsibilities:

  • develop and implement clear business development strategies for target major accounts to ensure achevement of annual sales targets, building relationships with ky individuals and senior decision makers as required
  • manage and nurture key relationship with existing customers, to ensure LR is well positioned to grow revenue with them year on year, through the introduction ov new products and services
  • Develop strategies to introduce new products and services into existing customers and new prospects, as part of the business development strategies
  • Understand complex client problems and develop client solutions for them, udnerpinned by insights
  • Work closely with marketing colleagues on the account-+based marketing strategies for each account, ensuring all sales folloq ups and actios are completed in timely manner
  • Contribute to the overall sector growth strategy discussions in LRQA, ensuring customer requirements and market conditions are consdered fully when setting priorities and targets
  • Contribut fully to any sector specific global opportunities as required, by being an active member of he bid team and managing the input of the area/team as needed
  • Provide accurate and timely sales and business report forecast and action plans as required
  • Prepare and submit sales quotations to customers and prospects in timely manner and in line with LRQA rules and accreditation guidelines
  • Maintain comprehensive, up to date records on the company's CRM system, including records of all calls, emails, meetings, proposals, etc. and the use of task management to set appropriate follow up actions and next steps.



Job Requirements  

  • (Technical or Management ) degree or professional qualification with commercial experience
  • 1-5 years’ experience in a commercial role
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in the Nordic B2B market
  • Good communication skills in both Swedish (as native language) and English, written as well as spoken, are required. Good communication additionally in either Danish or Finnish or Norwegian is an advantage.
  • Experience with certification of management systems is preferable
  • Demonstrable successful in sales
  • Willingness to travel in the Sweden as business needs dictate
  • Experience in the B2B certification business is a pre
