Role purpose:

Manages high complexity project(s) or programme/portfolio of projects for one or more client contracts.

Acts as single point of contact for clients to effectively manage client and LR relationship.

To perform work / service delivery for internal/external clients, where the parameters are defined and the work is within the contract SOW.


Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for all aspects of project performance, strategy, delivery and safety for increasingly complex projects within key client-facing position.

Responsible for managing single / multiple projects aligned with LR Commercial Bid Notice.

Identification, sourcing and management of full-time / part-time resources for all aspects of assigned projects in line with contractual and budgetary agreements.

Manages the interface with the client’s project organisation to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of a project in line with the commercial, contractual and financial requirements of the contract.

Delivering services to internal/external clients in accordance with internal processes/ procedures (e.g. PMF, BMS, BYD/CIT etc.).

Build new or continued client relationships.

Provide expert guidance and direction by leading, managing and controlling assigned technical personnel including Project Teams.

Manage the creation and monitoring of project schedules, financial tracking, risks and issues plus associated project documentation and support compliance with all legal, statutory and regulatory requirements for jurisdictions in which individual projects are to be executed.

Preparing deliverables within the agreed parameters in a defined format & within an agreed timescale, ensuring good quality of work & aligned to the KPI’s and agreed processes. 

Contribute and significantly influence setting delivery standards and policy related to area of expertise.

Contribute to the development of reference and resource materials for project management.

Actively mentor and/or train others in Project Management.

Management of the bid and tender development processes for individual and project management teams’ contracts.

Support and assist the Proposals & Bid Management team with all aspects of the bid and tender development process. Ensure all bid support activities are completed in time in order to meet the submission deadlines. All bid/ CTR development activities are carried out as per internal guidance / processes and GPT estimates are approved internally by Global Projects Management or Line Manager prior to submissions. LR Commercial Notice to be adhered to at all times.

Pursue Continuing Professional Development, maintaining technical & discipline knowledge.

In line with role, complete any other reasonable work request assigned by Line Manager.

Direct line management of PMs, supporting the Deputy Head of Projects with work allocation across the PM team.

Focus on development areas for members of the team. Champion of “good practice” Project Management & implement and monitor teams alignment with global processes and practices.
