We specialise in management systems compliance & expert advice across a broad spectrum of standards, schemes & business improvement services to include customised training & assurance. In Inspection Services, we certify safety critical industrial equipment according to recognised codes, standards & regulations. We also partner with companies to provide tailored high-quality inspection services throughout their manufacturing supply chains, making sure equipment is built safely & to their requirements.

 

We are currently looking for our future Area Marketing and Communications Officer covering South Europe for Business Assurance & Inspection Services.

  • We are embarking upon a digital transformation journey across the entire go to marketing life cycle this role will be integral to developing and implementing the digital marketing strategy.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Coordination and execution of the digital marketing channels and tools to support growth-driving marketing plans and campaigns for BA&IS in the Area, under direction of the Area Marketing Manager, Global Digital Marketing Manager and in line with Global Strategy and Global Marketing and Campaign Plans. 
  • Continual improvement of digital marketing campaign channels and tools so that we can demonstrate that the right marketing messages/campaigns are reaching the right customers at the right time, resulting in lead generation, cross and upsell opportunities, and increased brand awareness, consideration, advocacy and loyalty.
  • Working within the Area marketing team and Global Digital Marketing Manager to maximize efficiencies, effectiveness and reach of digital marketing channels, applying best practice approaches.
  • In line with the global strategy and marketing plans, manage, implement and update country-specific digital properties and assets, including websites, social media channels, marketing automation platform and interactive marketing tools, as well as other defined digital marketing channels.
  • Contribute to the execution of targeted campaigns to drive pipeline and revenue growth, increase Lloyd's Register brand awareness and generate leads within key product and service categories.
  • In line with the global strategy and global marketing plans, maintain and grow digital marketing channels using best practice frameworks, optimizing tools such as Salesforce and Pardot, our website, social media, email marketing, retargeting, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, digital marketing content localization, and more.
  • In line with budgets, performance plans and strategies, ensure that all digital marketing campaign channels support a consistent Lloyd's Register brand look and feel across the area.
  • Ensure digital marketing channels within campaigns utilize centrally developed and/or approved marketing content in line with LR Brand & Communications team and Global Digital Marketing Manager central guidance, appropriate client value propositions and client/prospect segmentation practices to maximize campaign engagement, effectiveness, brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Support digital marketing outcomes by working effectively with other marketing, sales and training team members, bought in services/agencies and other internal and external interfaces to ensure timely and efficient campaign delivery.
  • Use Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, MOZ, and other tools in line with training, best practice and Global direction to provide monthly reports on marketing plans and campaign effectiveness, market positioning, product mix and client feedback of the area to continually review and improve our marketing strategy. 
  • As a member of the area marketing team and working with the Global Digital Marketing Manager, provide information, recommendations and innovative ideas for new digital marketing channels, tactics, and tools, ensuring they are relevant, efficient and realistic. 
  • Follow frameworks and guidance to help evaluate online and offline marketing initiatives, ROI and effectiveness.
  • Working across teams ensure collaboration and contribution to the marketing, sales and operational function to support growth of the business in line with globally agreed strategic focus areas.
  • Serve as the area digital marketing expert and go-to resource. Be an expert in our specific processes on digital tools such as Episerver, MOZ, Trello, Pardot and Google Analytics.


What do we want from you

  • Degree level education in a marketing discipline with at least 3 years of B2B digital marketing and campaign coordination and execution experience or equivalent years’ experience in a similar B2B marketing role within the Certification, Testing Inspection and Compliance (TIC) and/or Professional Assurance Services sector.   
  • Good communication skills, with an ability to present material in a way which is appropriate to the level of knowledge of the audience.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills required. Additional language skills a plus.
  • Experience of digital marketing (and sales) ideally in a B2B and/or professional services environment.  
  • Experience in providing digital marketing campaign and channel execution and support to support business operations.
  • Adaptable and well organised with a practical minded approach and the ability to work on multiple tasks and to tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.  
  • Knowledge of applicable IT and digital technologies: Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Episerver and/or similar marketing and sales systems required.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, seeking management input, advice and direction when needed, with good communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a regional and global team.  
  • Result oriented, proactive, flexible and enthusiastic team player with a “can do” attitude.
  • The ideal candidate for this position will be based in Greece, Italy, Spain or France.
