We are looking for a talented, motivated, and energetic Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a business with a global footprint looking for dynamic individuals passionate about creating value for their clients and stakeholders. With development and mentorship as core principles of how we develop human talent, you will join a team that will support you to reach your potential as you develop and execute client engagement initiatives in Greece and elsewhere.

As Marketing Specialist, you will contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns while managing a wide range of events to promote our brand, engage our target audience, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in both public relations, marketing and event management to help Lloyd’s Register achieve its business objectives.

You will be able to collaborate cross-functionally within the business to implement initiatives that are client driven and focused. Attention to detail and creative thinking are critical to your success, along with the ability to generate innovative ideas.

The role 

  • Plan, coordinate and execute client engagement initiatives, including the project management of corporate events in line with the marketing plan and timeframes
  • Collaborate closely with all functions for the smooth and proper management and implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Take charge of the suppliers’ selection, negotiation, agreement preparation, payment arrangements in line with the available budget
  • On site support the event execution
  • Participate to events working group meetings and support the pre-event briefs and post-event reporting

What you bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience at least 2 years in marketing operations role, project management or account management role
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Effective workload prioritisiation
  • Flexibility to travel internationally
  • Familiarity with applications such as Microsoft Office, Asana, Salesforce.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
