The role will review, converge and approve manufacturing documentation and information for the high integrity mechanical components being procured for the UK EPR® The successful individual will attend meetings, both physically and web-based.

The role includes technical review and elements of client and stakeholder relationship management.

 

 

The role will be responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of manufacturing documentation and information for the high integrity mechanical components being procured for the UK EPR® for Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station to technical reviewers.

 

The successful individual will have an understanding of manufacturing documents & document management. 

The role includes coordination and elements of client and stakeholder relationship management.

Candidates require experience of writing and/or reviewing manufacturing documentation e.g. Quality Plans, Welding Procedures, NDE procedure etc. against the requirements of defined standards and referential. 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

 

  • Assign manufacturing documentation
  • Refine the workflow and reach internal agreement
  • Create the tools / trackers expected to monitor docs received
  • Update/create necessary fields in the SOFT (Internal system) sticking to the defined workflow process above
  • Complete allocation matrix (in draft in the 2nd page of the PPT)
  • Create a guidebook with sample of cover sheets to help Admin team to identify documents
  • Create a work instruction for appropriate records of metadata for anticipation of reporting towards NNB at due frequency
  • Provide assistance to the Project team for all documentation management activities.
  • Maintain and develop relationships at peer level within the client
  • Update the LRA service delivery team ensuring communication and understanding of progress and opportunities
  • Administer & practise strict confidentiality in accordance with the project & company confidentiality requirements.
  • Represent Lloyd’s Register Apave at meetings as required

 

 

 To be considered

 

 

  • Excellent communicator in English
  • Experience of document control / Document management & coordination
  • Ability to communicate in French would be an advantage
