With ambitious growth plans we are working in a rapidly evolving market with changing client needs, we are creating a talented Learning and Development team to implement creative and innovative solutions to meet the learning needs of our diverse workforce.  We want to continue to expand our global workforce with professionals who can add value and originality to our teams.  This team will support the learning needs for both our technical and non-technical teams. 


Role Purpose:


You will be responsible for consulting with stakeholders across the business streams to understand the learning and development needs that actively encourage our people to be at their best now and for future growth.

You will be expected to create learning proposals that meet the desired needs, making recommendations that offer internal or external solutions.  You will actively lead stakeholder meetings to gain commitment to the learning & development solution which includes demonstrating the proposed return on investment.

Ensure as lead or support that the recommended solution is delivered to roll out plan, building an evaluation strategy that will report into the L&D dashboard and back to stakeholders.

A creative designer and engaging facilitator you will own or be part of the team to deliver core learning curriculum, learning & development events or campaigns.


You will:


  • Stakeholder management, to work with key business streams helping to identify and qualify what the learning and developments needs are.  Based on the anticipated future needs and challenges for the business so that we maximise the potential of our people.
  • Complete end to end ownership of the learning cycle - completing regular value add analysis, the development of inclusive learning solutions, timely delivery of exceptional development and the transference of learning into the workplace
  • Internal or external partnering for the creation and design of learning solutions, ensuring that the right learning solution is identified for the right situation. 
  • Provide or source learning & development data analytics and reporting that is robust and value adding to assist stakeholders in decision making
  • Collaboratively work with business streams and other L&D teams to lead Core Curriculums; New employee experience, Customer service, Sales, Digital/Innovation, Technical
  • Support the ongoing development of our LMS platform and learning partnerships, to promote engaging learning experiences, maximising the value and contribution to performance and engagement for our colleagues
  • In collaboration with the wider HR function to provide support with key HR activities such as talent, PPP, careers, diversity and culture
  • Have a finger on the pulse with external trends and emerging practices within the learning and development field that would transform the ways we do things at LRQA
  • Support our apprenticeship programmes, creating a culture of personal learning and helping us utilise our business levy.




You will have:


  • A member of the CIPD or holds a recognised Training qualification
  • Exemplary consultancy and relationship-building skills, ideally experience within a global business
  • Strong listening skills and ability to interpret and recommend practical solutions to problems and situations 
  • Experience of designing or working with 3rd party designers to provide learning solutions including digital, eLearning, virtual and face to face
  • Experience working with LMS, LXPs or other learning technology solutions or services that support the delivery of great learning experiences
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing core curriculum development programmes
  • Has a growth mindset with the ability to work in a flexible/agile way to support ambitious plans
