The role


The product management function is responsible for driving growth and new opportunities across our portfolio of new and existing products.

As Senior Product Manager, you will have a high profile role and be accountable for the profitability and performance of our Inspection Services portfolio, working collaboratively across several key areas including new product development, innovation, the sales and operational teams, to define a product strategy and road map for our customers. You will manage new products through the full lifecycle as we look to increase client satisfaction and product profitability.

The ideal product management candidate will be customer focused and commercially astute, display strength in both creative and analytical tasks, and be a self-starter who enjoys working cross-functionally to drive change and is outcome orientated.



You will:



  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver single/multiple workstreams and projects in order to ensure the in-life success of the Inspection Services portfolio. You will identify priority markets and growth opportunities, drive market penetration, improve profitability and increase customer value.
  • Ensure inspection services product and service development is aligned to market and client demands by translating competitor and client insight into compelling growth strategies & go to market plans
  • Create business cases for new developments or enhancements to the inspection services product portfolio, so that they can be presented to the leadership team.
  • Build close working relationships with new product development, innovation, and the Inspection Services performance, sales and operational teams; align in-life product road maps with technical scheme road maps
  • Work closely with the customer experience team and operational teams, assess and improve the customer experience for Inspection Services customers through product enhancements and changes.
  • Improve in-life product portfolio performance and commercial strategy, driving market penetration, increasing profitability and total customer value
  • Contribute to the creation of go to market strategies (with marketing, sales, operations, delivery) to ensure that product launches achieve their objectives.
  • Help to ensure that monthly product revenue & profitability dashboards are maintained and communicated across the business
  • Work closely with the wider marketing function to ensure seamless execution of product GTM activities, and an integrated campaign approach


You will need:



  • Demonstrable product management experience, working within a product, proposition and business development environment
  • Experience in launching and managing products known for innovation and customer centricity
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills – can identify, size and explain a business opportunity
  • Strong leadership skills, in particular the ability to lead cross functional teams and inspire high performance from colleagues
  • Experience of the TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) industry is preferable but not essential
