The programme  

Over the two-year programme you will become a technical expert working across key industries including manufacturing, energy or oil & gas. You will gain an unparalleled depth and breadth of knowledge and be taught and mentored by renowned, supportive experts, with a combination of remote and on the job training.

 

You

  • Most importantly, we’re looking for a commitment towards, a career in verifying GHG emissions and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG). Previous experience in this area is not essential
  • You might be degree qualified, or have equivalent industry experience; but if not, we’re looking for enthusiastic and self-driven learners – perhaps you’ve taken a rich and varied series of courses in your current role
  • You may be an environmental specialist working in a high energy consumption organisation or within the construction industry working on sustainability projects.
  • Your verbal and written communication skills and numeracy abilities must be excellent as you will be involved in client-facing responsibilities; advising, building trust and positive relationships. Accurate reporting will be an essential part of the job to deliver clear outcomes
  • A willingness to train and deliver management system audits to standards like ISO 14001 Environmental management systems & ISO 50001 Energy management systems in addition to verification activities

 

 

 

About the role

You will be working across a wide range of industries and within a spectrum of standards and schemes.  Learning about verification of GHG and reporting on ESG. The role is home based but require a mix of home working and frequent visits to client sites.

When working from home you’ll be using remote audit techniques, alongside managing your time to plan for the site visits. This is a role of variety and constant stimulating challenges, with plenty of support from head office and every opportunity to develop your skills.
