We are embarking upon a digital transformation journey across the entire go to marketing life cycle this role will be integral to developing and implementing the digital marketing strategy.

 

The Role

This role will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and execution of digital marketing activities, channels and tools to support growth-driving marketing plans and campaigns for BA&IS across all areas, in line with the global digital marketing strategy.
  • Reviewing opportunities to maximise efficiencies, effectiveness and reach of digital marketing channels, applying best practice approaches. 
  • Make recommendations to continually improve the user experience across websites, other digital marketing and sales channels to increase leads, conversions, cross and upsell opportunities.

 

You will:

  • In line with the global digital strategy and marketing plans, manage, implement and update digital properties and assets, including websites, social media channels, marketing automation platform and interactive marketing tools, as well as other defined digital marketing channels.
  • Contribute to the execution of targeted campaigns to drive pipeline and revenue growth, increase Lloyd's Register brand awareness and generate leads within key product and service categories.
  • Maintain and grow digital marketing channels using best practice frameworks, optimising tools such as Salesforce and Pardot, our website, social media, email marketing, retargeting, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, digital marketing content localization, and more.
  • In line with budgets, performance plans and strategies, ensure digital marketing campaign channels support a consistent Lloyd's Register brand look and feel globally and across the areas.
  • Ensure all digital marketing campaigns utilise centrally developed and/or approved marketing content, appropriate client value propositions and client/prospect segmentation practices to maximise campaign effectiveness, driving brand awareness and lead generation
  • Collaborate with other marketing, sales and training team members, agencies and other internal and external interfaces to ensure timely and efficient campaign delivery.
  • Use Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, MOZ, and other tools in line to provide reporting on marketing plans and campaign effectiveness, market positioning, product mix and client feedback, enabling the tea, to continually review and improve our digital marketing strategy.
  • Working with the Global Digital Marketing Manager, provide information, recommendations and innovative ideas for new digital marketing channels, tactics, and tools, ensuring they are relevant, efficient and realistic.  
  • Follow frameworks and guidance to help evaluate online and offline marketing initiatives, ROI and effectiveness.
  • Working across teams ensure collaboration and contribution to the marketing, sales and operational function to support growth of the business in line with globally agreed strategic focus areas.
  • Serve as global support to the area digital marketing experts and go-to resource for questions from the marketing community. Be an expert in our specific processes on digital tools such as Episerver, Moz, Trello, Pardot and Google Analytics.

 

You will need:

  • Degree level education in a marketing discipline with at least 3 years of B2B digital marketing and campaign coordination and execution experience or equivalent years’ experience in a similar B2B marketing role, ideally within the Certification, Testing Inspection and Compliance (TIC) and/or Professional Assurance Services sector.   
  • Experience in UX/website design and conversion optimisation – ideally previous experience working on an ecommerce website
  • Good communication skills, with an ability to present material in a way which is appropriate to the level of knowledge of the audience.  Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English and an additional language is a plus.
  • Experience of digital marketing (and sales) ideally in a B2B and/or professional services environment, experience in providing digital marketing campaign and channel execution and support to support business operations
  • Adaptable and well organised with a practical minded approach and the ability to work on multiple tasks and to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of applicable IT and digital technologies: Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Episerver and/or similar marketing and sales systems required.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, seeking management input, advice and direction when needed, with good communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Result oriented, proactive, flexible and enthusiastic team player with a “can do” attitude.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills required. Additional language skills a plus.
  • Ability to travel (occasionally) across the Areas or globally, as necessary
