Role Purpose

The ByD Systems Administrator will ensure ByD access is set up in accordance with the set policy and segregation of duties and control matrix implemented.   They will be keen to learn and understand the set up, structure and integration of the overall Service Delivery Support application portfolio solutions and demonstrate a proactive, can do manner.


Your duties will include

  • Set up and amend ByD system roles in accordance with the defined security matrix and role owner approval
  • Update and maintain the Segregation of Duties matrix and ByD role card definitions
  • Maintain access to development and test environments in conjunction with Service Owner; Product Owner; Delivery Leads and Test and Release Lead
  • Maintain the environment plans, ensuring internal processes are followed and that vendors provide environment and that LR activities are completed following new environment creation
  • Work with Solution Analysts and 3rd parties to document changed access requirements due to enhancements and changes in the solutions created by business improvements and / or vendor software releases
  • Report on any exceptions to the access controls process and escalate as appropriate to the Service Owner
  • Monitor and report system usage and user numbers to ensure compliance with licensing, reporting monthly on user numbers and identifying unused accounts for removal
  • Perform quarterly access audits to ensure access is reported to Line Manager and changes made in accordance with LR access policy
  • Perform regular data and configuration updates as required (such as P&SR updates; SF to BYD integration; organization structure changes etc)
  • Assess the risks and work in a safe manner at all times, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.
  • Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations (NMSO), accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with line manager.


To be considered

  • Degree in IT or relevant discipline, or similar qualification or experience
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop in a challenging role
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral with the ability to communicate with other staff at all levels across the business
  • Effective team player and able to be an ambassador of Group IT in all interactions both externally and internally
  • Knowledge of ByDesign desirable
