Role Purpose

Lloyd’s Register operates a Finance Shared Service Centre based in Bracknell. The function is part of global shared service operation and offers services across 87 countries globally.

The role of the Expenses Specialist is to have full responsibility for processing all expense related queries across LR entities in line with LR policies. The post holder will liaise by phone and email with employees, Barclaycard and Concur to resolve the queries and carry out any necessary processing in Concur and ByD.

To perform other assigned accounts payable functions of a routine nature under the direction of the Expenses Team Leader

 

Your duties will include

  • Processing credit card and purchasing card applications
  • Processing credit card refunds in Concur & ByD
  • Processing all expense reversals in ByD
  • Barclaycard statement reconciliation
  • Checking Movers, Leavers and Joiners Report and actioning changes where necessary
  • Resolving exceptions in ByD generated by Concur expenses
  • Monitoring employee expense submissions and chasing employees who have unsubmitted expenses older than 30 days
  • Ensuring all queries raised are dealt with promptly and professionally
  • Ensuring compliance to local statutory regulations across the globe
  • Ensuring reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Providing support for Audit requests
  • Preparing accounting related reports and analysis spreadsheets as required
  • Assisting with new process implementations
  • Ad hoc projects/duties as required

 

To be considered

  • Experience of working within an Accounts Payable team
  • Experience of multi-currency invoice processing
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel
  • Experience of working with Concur
  • Experience of the Barclaycard Spend Management System
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent teamworking skills
  • Fluency in written and oral English
  • Fluency in other European languages is advantageous
  • Ability to work and deliver collaboratively across a global matrix
  • AAT or other accounting qualification is desirable
