Based in our Calgary office, the role is a full-time permanent position and requires someone who has Corrosion Engineer experience and/or background. 


The main purpose of the role will be to: 

  • Perform corrosion assessments and/or provide solutions to requests from clients related to corrosion, material, and metallurgy in general
  • Perform complex assessments, provide specialist advice/solution based on client needs and requirements
  • Prepare, discuss, and present deliverables to client, lead client meetings, and can suggest alternate solutions where appropriate
  • To undertake project management where applicable including monitoring project performance against budget and contract requirements.
  • Travel will be required to the client site twice during the project


 You will have:

  • Canadian Oil Sands experience in mining and upgrading is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering (10 to 15 years’ experience)
  • Shall possess sufficient relevant previous working experience to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the relevant specialist requirements, knowledge and application.
  • Familiarity with energy industry equipment and basic operating functions
  • Basic understanding of inspection methods/techniques
  • Proficiency in the English Language commensurate with the work is preferred
