What we’re looking for 

We are looking for the Data Technical Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting, updating, and maintaining various types of data into Marine Asset databases and systems. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

The role :

  • To accurately input details of machinery components and hull structures and other vessel information into Asset Data Tool (ADT)
  • Extract, clean, and transform large and complex datasets from various sources.
  • Reviewing data for errors or deficiencies, correcting any incompatibilities.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
  • To work in accordance with professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS01.

What you bring 

  • A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd’s relevant field
  • Minimum one year of working experience into machinery.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or corporate environment
  • Skilled in using data entry tools and Microsoft office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable analysis.
