As part of this role, you will provide administrative support within Commercial business stream and ensure a smooth onboarding process and provide sufficient support in local office.

The role 

 

  • Ensure company compliance to all government and regulatory affairs related to employment laws, visa regulations, labour contracts, company attestations, memberships, certifications, permits and company licenses / registrations including obtaining, completing and submitting paperwork and applications as well as follow up and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support office set up, on-going activity needed

 

What you bring 

 

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
  • Fluent written and spoken English (and local language, as applicable) with ability to liaise effectively with internal and external personnel.
  • Approving strong relationships with government officials and agencies to facilitate business operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge on Saudi employment laws, visa regulations, labour contracts, company attestations, memberships, certifications, permits and company licenses / registrations including obtaining, completing and submitting paperwork and applications as well as follow up and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Use own initiative able to prioritise and work on multiple tasks whilst adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and results-oriented approach to meet varying and competing business demands.
  • Adaptable and well organized with a practical minded approach
  • High degree of accuracy.
  • Able to work as part of a team to contribute to achieving departmental/business objectives.
  • Computer literate in MS Office.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials and agencies to facilitate business operations.
  • Liaise with and ensure effective communication with various government ministries, agencies and regulatory entities, including but not limited to foreign affairs, immigration, labour, social insurance, investment, commerce, municipal and rural affairs, civil defence to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Setting up companies and undertaking other licensing procedures in different regions and free zones as required by the business.
  • Utilize government e-portals effectively to complete processes and obtain approvals (such as Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem etc)
  • Represent the company in government matters, meetings, and discussions to protect the company’s interests.
  • Monitor the localization (Saudization) process to ensure compliance with government mandates, company requirements and quotas
  • Source alternative Sponsors for employment matters, when necessary, and advise the company on any associated risks.
  • Ensure that third-party sponsor employment matters such as payroll, labour contracts (Qiwa) and general employee management are compliant with local regulations
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and government policies that could impact the business and advise senior management accordingly
  • Responsible for coordination with People, Finance and relevant functions to ensure a smooth onboarding process
