In Inspection Services, we certify safety critical industrial equipment according to recognized codes, standards & regulations.


Our Inspection Services team in Canada is now hiring for a Surveyor with at least 6 years of experience with inspections activities of pressurized equipment, subsea and Well control equipment and flexible pipes.  This role may also include managing projects. The successful candidate should also possess mechanical or naval architecture engineering degree. Knowledge of materials, testing, welding, fabrication, NDE is required.


You will:

  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards;
  • Discuss/ present the deliverable with the external client at a senior level and be able to suggest alternative solutions where appropriate;
  • Contribute to internal/external client management as appropriate by acting as point of contact to effectively manage client and LR relationships.
  • Undertake project management where applicable including monitoring project progress and spend against budget and contract requirements;
  • Perform complex assessments and provide advice for service delivery within agreed broad parameters that includes budget constraints and contractual requirements;
  • Assess the risks and work in a safe manner at all times, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health;
  • Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations (NMSO), accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager.
