What we’re looking for 

An intermediate-level Software Engineer who can support our LR OneOcean business to be able to participate in developing, maintaining, and supporting different software products. We are looking for team players motivated by curiosity, creativity, initiative, and passion.
As an international organization, you will have good oral and written knowledge of English.

   The role 
•    Within your team, design, code, test, troubleshoot, review, and maintain software solutions using the .NET framework and related technologies.
•    Stay up to date, research and explore new technologies in line with the product strategy and development direction.
•    Work with the team to continually improve and become the best version the team can be.
•    Work closely with developers, architects, designers, data specialists, quality analysts and maritime experts
•    Become an expert in the intricacies of the maritime world
•    Develop internationally used products that scale quickly
•    Analyze software requirements and implement related software products providing a sustainable framework
•    Build and delivery of software products and/or parts of the products, code source and tools, including: web-services, user interfaces, data structure, data storage.

 

What you bring 
•    A bachelor's/master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
•    3-5 years of extensive experience within the full-stack developing environment
•    Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
•    Experience building SaaS solutions in C# and .NET
•    Experience developping WPF Desktiop applications
•    Experience developing high-scale usage web applications with the latest frontend framework (Angular, React, VueJS)
•    Experience with Typescript
•    Experience in Agile and DevOps practices
•    A good understanding of working with API using REST JSON/XML
•    Knowledge and/or experience in the following as an asset:
•    WPF Web Application
•    SSO and Azure Cloud platform knowledge
•    Azure DevOps
•    Flexbox or Electron
•    Web mapping frameworks (Mapbox, Openlayers, Gmap)
•    Cloud-native Infrastructure (Docker, K8s, Terraform…)
