DCS & MRV Project Coordinator



We are looking for a DCS & MRV Project Coordinator in our Gdansk Office to support the Marine & Offshore business.

The purpose of this role is to provide high level business administrative support, coordinating and administrating the delivery of complex projects against defined procedures. Manage tasks logically and resolve complex queries. You will be working with administrative and technical colleagues and clients on an international level. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Service Delivery, Sales & Account management teams as well as SDS in accordance with procedures and ByD processes to meet business requirements.
  • Act as Responsible Person (RP) for assigned projects in ByD and undertake project coordination activities to ensure the smooth delivery of LR services.
  • Complete required monitoring and tasks within ByD to meet business requirements and internal procedures.
  • Conduct all activities in line with internal procedures and ensure all created jobs have a valid contract and meet contractual requirements.
  • Be accountable for accurate processing of jobs to ensure we meet financial reporting obligations and to ensure accuracy of all client deliverables.
  • Be accountable for ensuring a smooth workflow which meets agreed deadlines, by proactively identifying possible holds-up before they occur and taking action to resolve them.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate filing/archiving of documentation
  • Responsible for reporting project status accurately to the business and identify concerns as they arise.
  • Always remain professional, both internally and externally, to encourage good behaviours and promote excellent customer experience.
  • Be accountable for timely response to internal & external clients.
  • Complete other tasks as requested by your Line Manager and be proactive to identify and suggest improvements to drive efficiency savings by improving defined processes and procedures.
  • Coach other team members as appropriate to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application. Ask questions and challenge process where appropriate to develop professionally and drive efficiency.


Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Experience in project management / coordination role with awareness of basic project management tools and processes.
  • Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders globally.
  • Experience in the marine industry, either technical or administrative / procedural is preferred.
  • Experience from a customer orientated background.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the work.
  • Manage tasks logically and ability to resolve complex queries.
  • SAP knowledge, in particular Business by Design, is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook as a minimum.
