Global Client Training Coordinator

Primary location is Italy, other locations in Europe to be considered

Role Summary:

As a Global Client Training Coordinator, you will provide high level administrative support as part of defined procedures and you will undertake a wide range of complex administrative activities and resolve complex queries.

The purpose of the role will be to support with LR Maritime Client training through arranging and coordinating training activities globally for our clients, whilst providing excellent customer service and query resolution as required. This role will also coordinate the sales training requirements for our internal global sales teams.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate external (Client) Training Activities (including but not limited to activities from contract to course completion activities and invoicing).
  • Handle and respond to basic client enquiries relating to training activities.
  • Support the Maritime Training Services Manager in Business Development Activities as needed.
  • Attend Maritime Client Training courses and support client query and business development needs.
  • Attend Seminars, Exhibitions and Promotional events and assist in the development of promotional communication content and activities, as necessary.
  • Develop internal training sales coordination activities for our global sales teams.
  • Produce training reports, supporting monitoring against KPIs.
  • Keep promotional materials and the on-line training platform up to date.

Key Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Assess the risks and to work in a safe manner at all times, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems. Refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.
  • Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations (NMSO), accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd’s Register within the relevant field of HR, Training, Education, Business Administration, Economics or related field (minimum of two years programme) or Qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea-going experience as a certificated ship’s officer.
  • Minimum two to three years of (2-3) years of working experience in coordinating global activities, dealing with different cultures.
  • Knowledge of training methodology to enable support role
  • Computer literacy and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent command (written and oral) in English language using relevant professional terminology.

  • Is customer focused and driven to achieve excellent customer service.
