Data Integrity Team Leader

Location: Mumbai

We are seeking a Data Integrity Team Leader to oversee a team of Administrators, ensuring the effective management and maintenance of accurate client data within our systems. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for driving continuous process improvements and managing knowledge within the team to enhance overall efficiency.

The role 

  • Knowledge Transfer:
    Serve as the subject matter expert for all relevant systems, providing ongoing support to upskill the team and train new members on efficient system usage.
  • Data Management Activities:
    Oversee the creation and updating of client accounts, ensuring data integrity, and provide accurate data to support various teams in making informed decisions.
  • Data Quality:
    Ensure the accuracy and completeness of MDM data cleansing activities across all applicable systems. Run reports as needed to monitor data quality.
  • Master Data Management:
    Execute master data updates and customer data changes in line with directives from the Client Data Owner and Account Data Steward, ensuring alignment with other Data Owners.
  • Team Motivation:
    Foster team performance by understanding what motivates each member and recognizing patterns in their skills and behaviors. Provide guidance on task prioritization, act as an escalation point, and manage workload distribution.
  • Team Management:
    Lead and develop the team to deliver effective and efficient support services. This includes involvement in recruitment, training, and the development of team members.
  • Continuous Learning:
    Cultivate a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning, while ensuring adherence to current Data Governance processes and policies.
  • Performance Management:
    Set clear performance expectations for the team, regularly measure and report performance against these expectations to the Head of Commercial Execution and the Commercial Execution Manager.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify process improvement opportunities for the Commercial Excellence team, supporting the implementation of approved changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Process Adherence:
    Ensure compliance with all relevant processes within the role’s scope.
  • Professional Integrity:
    Maintain the highest level of professional integrity, adhering to internal procedures, legislation, and accreditation schemes. Pursue continuous professional development to stay current in the field.
  • Client Centricity:
    Proactively identify customer needs and promote a client-centric culture, ensuring that customer experience remains a priority.
  • Data Administrator Activities:
    Perform all responsibilities of the Data Administrator role as needed.

 

 

What you bring 

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study.
  • Experience working in a business-to-business client service environment, preferably with direct client interaction.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing people within a client service setting.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English (and local language, if applicable), with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Team player, contributing to the achievement of departmental and business objectives.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Flexible and results-oriented, able to address varying and competing client and business demands.
  • Adaptable and well-organized, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Able to identify and implement system and process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
  • Good understanding of global processes and standards, ensuring compliance and promoting adherence within the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization.
