The Head of Talent Solutions will lead the design and delivery of strategic talent initiatives that ensure the organisation has the right capabilities to meet current and future business needs. This role will act as a key enabler of a sustainable workforce by aligning talent strategies with learning, leadership, and people development priorities.

The role

  • Strategic Workforce Planning:
    Partner with HR and business leaders to forecast capability needs and develop talent pipelines that support long-term workforce sustainability, increased mobility and succession readiness
  • Talent Development Strategy:
    Design and implement targeted development pathways for critical talent segments, including succession planning, career frameworks, and mobility strategies. Delivering a clearly define and future-ready talent strategy
  • Learning Integration:
    Collaborate with Learning Programme Managers and the Learning Business Partner to embed talent solutions into broader learning and leadership development offerings. Providing enhanced alignment between learning and talent development
  • Data-Driven Insights:
    Leverage internal data and external market intelligence to inform talent strategies and measure impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Build strong relationships with People Directors, Partners, and business leaders to ensure talent solutions are aligned with organisational goals.
  • Innovation and Best Practice:
    Maintain awareness of emerging trends in talent management and integrate innovative practices into the function.

 

 

What you bring

  • Deep expertise in talent strategy, strategic workforce planning, and leadership development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across complex stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide talent initiatives.
  • Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to translate client business needs into clearly defined talent solutions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and operational delivery of Talent best practise, and emerging market best practises

  • Is able to self-manage and prioritize tasks towards achieving goals 
  • Is effective at solving problems, trouble-shooting and making timely decisions
