What we’re looking for 

 

  • Responsibility for managing the relationship with the TMF service provider for all country payrolls in their Area. To work closely with the in country TMF teams to provide employees with a first class legally compliant payroll service. In addition, they develop strong working relationships with HR, the business streams, auditors and other stake holder.

 The role 

  • Work with the local TMF in-country teams (or agents) to ensure payrolls are managed to high quality, accuracy and on time; To be the main contact point for TMF for all countries under the responsibility
  • Oversee non-HR related Pay/Deductions inputs such as, expenses and other taxable benefits which require reporting through payroll. Manage the data flow to TMF within the TMF timeframes
  • To act as the employee contact point for any post payroll run related queries and provide employees with a good service; To manage any employee escalations by discussing with the Head of Global Payroll, HR or TMF as necessary
  • Ensure countries under their responsibility are compliant for employer benefit reporting including year-end/monthly reporting. For example, employee pay/benefit statements, issue of Form 16s, Annual tax and statutory filing etc
  • Support Internal/External audit queries if specific to countries in the Area, provide payroll and pension related data, support for actuarial valuations etc.  To ensure payroll allocations, accruals and payroll control accounts are matched.
  • Work on Continuous Improvement initiatives supported by TMF, HR and Global Head of Payroll to ensure the most efficient payroll process
  • To manage Superannuation and Gratuity trust transactions and submit the relevant applications/documents with LIC / Group pension for DB/DC pension and gratuity claims.  To act as a main focal point of contact with LIC and Pensioners and facilitate their requirements.  Submit annual DB/DC pension, gratuity, leave data for trust policy renewals and to coordinate to get the data.
  • To coordinate and manage legacy and Current PF challenges and resolve the matter in support of TMF.  Provide high quality support to employees in PF related issues and update the tax related regulatory changes.
  • Ensure that activities within their area of control are carried out in line with internal procedures, adhere to GDPR regulations and contractual requirements.

 

What you bring  

 

  • Recognized accounting qualification and experience in payroll process
  • Proficiency in MS Application including word and excel.  Experience in ERP working environment
  • Effective communication and inter-personnel skills
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure with professionalism, meeting deadlines in a timely manner
  • Highly numerate, self-motivated
