About the Role:

The PowerApps Developer will design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on integrating operational and commercial data from internal application such as SAP and Salesforce. The role ensures seamless digital workflows, modernises business processes, and supports data-driven decision making across the organisation. The role will work with the LR Advisory and Digital teams to solve business critical challenges that require PowerApps development.

The Role 

  1. Power Platform Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model‑Driven Apps).
  • Build and automate workflows using Power Automate.
  • Develop scalable data models using Dataverse and support integrations with SQL, SharePoint, and other connectors.
  • Implement role-based security, environment governance, and ALM best practices.

2. Solution Design & Architecture

  • Participate in requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution architecture workshops.
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical designs.
  • Apply Power Platform best practices, including data security, scalable component design, and automation governance.

3. Integration with SAP & Salesforce

  • Build and maintain integrations using custom connectors, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, or API endpoints.
  • Transform and map data between Power Platform entities and SAP/Salesforce schemas.
  • Optimise performance and reliability of data synchronisation processes.
  • Collaborate closely with SAP and Salesforce functional/technical teams to understand data structures and business processes.

4. Testing, Deployment & Support

  • Prepare test plans, conduct unit and integration testing, and support UAT.
  • Deploy solutions across development, test, and production environments following ALM processes.
  • Provide second-line support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements and updates as required.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with the latest Power Platform, SAP, and Salesforce capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimisation, and user experience improvements.
  • Promote best practices and contribute to internal development standards.

 

What you bring

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerApps (Canvas & Model‑Driven).
  • Proficient with Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform connectors.
  • Strong understanding of relational data modelling and data transformation.
  • Knowledge of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management) is highly desirable.
  • Experience integrating with:
    • SAP (BAPIs, OData Services, SAP Gateway, RFCs, or API Management).
    • Salesforce (REST/SOAP APIs, Data Loader, or native connectors).
  • Experience using Git or Azure DevOps for ALM.

Business & Functional Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Understanding of business processes commonly represented in SAP and Salesforce, e.g., asset management, operations, CRM, or financial workflows.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications (Preferred but not mandatory)

  • Microsoft Certifications such as:
    • PL‑100 (Power Platform App Maker)
    • PL‑200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant)
    • PL‑400 (Power Platform Developer)
  • SAP or Salesforce integration training/certification is a plus.
