Project Support Team Leader

Location: Mumbai

 

 

What we’re looking for 

We are seeking a Project Support Team Leader to manage a team of Administrators and Coordinators, ensuring effective project support and delivery. The ideal candidate will handle escalations, meet KPIs, adhere to global processes, and build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders. Additionally, the Team Leader will be responsible for driving continuous process improvement and managing knowledge within the team.

The role 

  • Leadership and Performance Management: Lead and manage a hub/cluster team responsible for RP activities on simple and standard projects. Provide guidance, support, and performance management to team members to cultivate a high-performance culture, ensuring strong accountability and performance within the team.
  • Project Support Management: Oversee the coordination and execution of simple and standard projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with operational stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle, acting as the primary point of contact for designated teams and facilitating project handoffs that require coordination.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery and support.
  • KPIs and Standards: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets for the project support team.
  • Knowledge Management: Oversee knowledge management initiatives within the project support team, ensuring that essential knowledge is created, maintained, shared, and applied globally.
  • Continuous Learning: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
  • Client Centricity: Identify customer needs and take proactive measures to ensure positive experiences. Promote a client-centric culture that prioritizes customer experience in LR’s business.
  • Ownership Handover: Ensure smooth and clear transitions of tasks between teams during the process cycle. Follow the RACI document and clearly communicate transition points to prevent task overlap or gaps in ownership.
  • Professional Integrity: Act with integrity at all times, conducting activities in accordance with internal procedures and legislation, while pursuing Continuous Professional Development to maintain a high level of relevant knowledge and awareness.

 

 

What you bring 

  • Demonstrated experience in a team leadership role, ideally in project support or a related area.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to managing escalations and implementing preventive measures.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities, capable of building and maintaining effective relationships with operational stakeholders.
  • Experience in continuous process improvement and knowledge management.
  • Solid understanding of global processes and standards, with the ability to ensure compliance and promote adherence within the team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization.
