The role:

 

The purpose of this role is to create and manage the area’s marketing plan to drive growth, customer advocacy, brand awareness and proposition differentiation. The role should empower the area to meet commercial objectives through coordinated campaigns and other activities, focusing on winning the business, demonstrating differentiation, and nurturing client relationships, across the M&O and MPS business.

 

You will:

  • Ensure that that all prospects and clients are nurtured, segmented, and targeted with relevant and timely communications that increase their propensity to do business with LR.
  • Design and implement direct customer campaigns and messages that help to expand LR’s market share and pursue aggressive growth targets
  • Work closely with colleagues in the channel marketing, product management and strategic propositions teams to ensure that these campaigns are fully integrated with, and aligned to, product/proposition launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with the brand and external relations team to ensure that all campaigns support brand development and promote LR’s strategic themes by amplifying external messages and promoting brand ambassadors and thought leaders in integrated campaign activity.
  • Work closely with the strategic sales teams and key sales stakeholders to ensure that campaign plans and activities are fully understood, and that sales colleagues are enabled to follow up opportunities.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other digital marketing tools to demonstrate campaign results and track lead generation activity through to conversion.
  • Set, track and report upon marketing campaign results and ROI, including prospects, leads and opportunities, working closely with sales stakeholders to ensure transparency and best practice
  • Must possess digital skills and proven experience of working in a digital marketing environment
  • Knowledge of the marine and offshore industry desired but not essential

 

You will need:

  • Degree level education from a recognized institution. A degree in in a marketing discipline is considered a plus.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing roles, ideally in B2B marketing and campaign coordination.
  • Good communication skills, with an ability to present material in a way which is appropriate to the level of knowledge of the audience. 
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in English and local languages where applicable
  • Adaptable and well organized with a practical minded approach and the ability to work on multiple tasks and to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of applicable IT and digital technologies. Knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, social media, and/or similar marketing and sales systems required.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, seeking management input, advice and direction when needed, with good communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn from peers and global colleagues.
  • Result oriented, proactive, flexible and enthusiastic team player with a “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within organizations and to influence successfully and openly, especially with culturally diverse audiences.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Flexible approach to adjust role and objectives as the position develops.
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry (i.e. shipbuilding, ship operations, freight and chartering) is considered a plus.
