Role Purpose:

We are now recruiting for an HR Advisor who can provide professional HR advice and proactive support to line managers and colleagues based across the Americas for a fixed term of 9 to 12 months.  We are happy to consider recent college graduates looking to start a career in human resources since this is a perfect way to gain knowledge and skills you will need.  You will support complex and challenging HR related queries or pick-up on-going issues where you can support the business to perform at its best. You will be able to use all your HR expertise (or developing HR expertise) to support the delivery of the core HR Cycle of activities, such as Personal Performance Planning (PPP), Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) results and organizational changes and projects being rolled out in the country or region. You will pick-up projects that extend beyond the international borders and add value in the regions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all HR services in country are delivered in compliance with global policy and local employment legislative requirements
  • Provide advice and support to line managers and colleagues on HR related matters
  • Support delivery of core HR cycle activities (PPP, EOS)
  • Support with labor law related matters
  • Undertake HR projects and initiatives, working with other HR departments and business customers
  • Provide coaching and support for line managers as they handle difficult employee relations issues and challenges
  • Being an active partner during the onboarding activities with new joiners and the line manager
  • Work closely with the local Operations Managers for HR related matters
  • Support with internal recruitment/promotion processes - including various interview formats, including phone screening calls, in-person interviews, and group interviews
  • Supporting the training and upskilling of managers with HR and people activities. Completing inductions on HR processes and activities as appropriate for new managers

 

Qualifications:

  • Related Bachelor’s degree or appropriately qualified HR professional
  • Generalist HR knowledge and experience across HR disciplines
  • Experience of dealing with employee relations issues and high knowledge of local employment legislation, works councils etc. will be considered a plus
  • Ability to understand and assess complex and sometimes unfamiliar situations, visualize solutions, and see through to resolution
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within organization and to influence successfully and openly at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, operationally proficient in English and Spanish is preferred
