We have recently announced that Business Assurance and Inspection Services + Nettitude will be leaving the LR Group and will become a standalone business (LRQA) under the ownership of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.  It’s an exciting time to join our business as we have ambitious growth plans.  We are looking for talented people to join our business to help build on our strengths and transform our business to be the best partner for our customers.

Regional Audit Manager – Americas

For someone who understands the world of field management, this is a great chance to lead by example. It could be a step up into senior management or simply a chance to enjoy more decision-making freedom. Guided by our shared purpose, to keep the world safe, you’ll be empowered to explore new ways to improve.

Where you fit in

Lloyd’s Register’s Business Assurance and Inspection Services team provide auditing and certification assurance for business and management processes in Fortune 500 companies across North, South, and Central America.

We have more than 150 expert assessors and auditors who assure a huge range of manufacturing, process, and production assets, helping businesses adhere to international quality, environmental, and safety standards across many sectors, including medical, automotive, Information Security (InfoSec), and sustainability.

Your role is to lead the team – to give them the framework, coaching, and motivation they need to deliver maximum efficiency, with customers always front of mind. Broadly, it’s about taking a strategic long-term view then putting in place the practices required to reach it.

We’ll value your experience and trust your judgment. If you can see a way to make productivity gains, to grow business, or to sharpen the service we deliver to our clients, go ahead. As long as you share our long-held belief in ‘doing the right thing,’ you’ll have our full support.

What you can add

You’ll lead by example, delivering excellent field service yourself (for example, to strengthen relationships with key clients) and instilling the same values within our local and operational teams. That demands assertive problem-solving and strong communication: you’re someone who can guide, influence, and persuade others, balancing conviction and diplomacy.

If you haven’t led a team of this size before, you’ll need to convince us you have the supervisory skills to step up. That includes proven experience of:

  • Implementing sound people management, leadership, and mentoring practices in a field assessment environment.
  • Developing and delivering field assessment plans and strategies.
  • Cultivating positive commercial and client relationships.
  • Working with budgets and financial processes, including pricing policies, budget setting, prioritizing, monitoring resources.
  • Analyzing and interpreting data analysis to generate reports and inform decisions.

We’re open-minded about where in the Americas you’re based – but you’ll need to be able to attend quarterly meetings in Houston, Texas.

Why join us?

  • Impressive benefits including health care coverage, dental coverage, a generous time off package, and a 401k plan.
  • Be part of an independent organization with a strong purpose – one that’s guided by principles, not just profit.
  • The pride of being a key part of a team that represents the best of our business to customers, day in, day out.
  • The scale of our business and the depth of our expertise creates experiences you simply won’t find anywhere else.  Our top-ten customers turn over a collective £300 billion pa – how’s that for responsibility?
  • Work-life balance. We’ve been working flexibly and at home for years; we’re really good at it.
  • A world of opportunity. Succeed in this role, and there are so many different, interesting routes for you to progress.
