What are we looking for

You will lead the development and execution of a cohesive, high-impact marketing operations framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving measurable commercial outcomes.

We are looking for the individual embedding consistent processes to make sure marketing operations are run sufficiently.

As the strategic owner of global marketing processes, you will define and implement standardised operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness. You will ensuring the team seamlessly execute key marketing programmes while embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

This role requires a leader with exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and guiding cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and external partners. If you are a commercially minded leader with a track record of driving operational excellence and optimising marketing performance, this is a unique opportunity to shape and enhance LR’s global marketing strategy.

The role 

  • Lead the strategic development and optimisation of global marketing programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and measurable commercial impact.
  • Oversee and continuously enhance marketing governance, embedding structured processes, SOPs, and best practices to drive operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of a team of experts, ensuring high-quality execution, efficient resource allocation, and seamless collaboration across teams.
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making, ensuring marketing programs are evaluated and optimised against clearly defined objectives.
  • Establish and enforce robust program tracking, reporting, and risk management frameworks, proactively identifying and mitigating potential delivery risks.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with key business stakeholders, fostering alignment across commercial, technical, and executive leadership teams.
  • Ensure marketing operations are scalable, adaptable, and responsive to the evolving needs of the business, introducing innovative solutions where necessary.
  • Define and implement RACI frameworks to clarify roles, responsibilities, and accountability across global marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on marketing operations, process efficiency, and program effectiveness.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement within marketing operations, leveraging stakeholder feedback and performance insights to refine processes and enhance impact.

  

 What you bring

 

  • Experience in leading and optimising global teams, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact, multi-channel marketing programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, comfortable driving alignment across complex stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to introduce and refine marketing governance structures, SOPs, and operational workflows within a large-scale business environment.
  • Commercially minded, with strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage, align, and challenge senior leadership constructively.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Strong experience with project management methodologies and tools to improve tracking, reporting, and efficiency within marketing operations.
  • Comfortable working within a global, matrixed organisation and adapting to evolving business needs.

Desirable:

  • Experience within B2B, professional services, or maritime industries.
  • Background in continuous improvement methodologies or process optimisation.
