As part of this role, you will act as an assistant to the Group Chief Finance Officer and contribute to the efficiency of the Finance team by providing a high level of support to essential agenda items, deliverables, and key issues.

The role
- Extensive support to the Group Chief Finance Officer through the management of schedules, logistics and communications.
- Act as conduit between Finance team to ensure people related activities are communicated effectively and in a timely manner to managers and colleagues through appropriate channels.
- Act as point of contact for communication and matters assuring content, preparing talking points/written responses on behalf of the Chief Finance Officer for both internal and external audiences.
- Act as an assistant to Finance team by briefing them on essential agenda items, deliverables, and key issues
- Prepare high-quality materials and resources for both Board executive meetings and the Finance leadership team
- Arrange/ co-ordinate travel and accommodation
- Managing The Group Group Chief Finance Officer’s calendar and prioritising as necessary
- Format information for internal and external communications and presentations
- Minute taking as required
- Managing flow of information in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare and share itineraries
- Co-ordinating/ arranging events and necessary logistics for the Exec team as required
- Coordinating, tracking and reconciling expenses for the Group Chief Finance Officer
- Monitoring of departmental expense in line with LR policies and procedures
- The duties will be varied and some confidential, requiring the highest level of discretion
- Maintain close relationships with peers and relevant departments across the organization.
What you bring
- Track record as an Executive Assistant, preferably within a global business supporting C-Level stakeholders and the Board
- Ability to juggle different tasks, effectively prioritise and manage competing demands
- Driven and act with integrity at all times
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey clear and compelling messages, flexing tone and style to suit the audience
- Significant previous experience supporting C-level stakeholders or exposure in a similar role handling Chief of Staff responsibilities
- Exceptional project management skills
- Proficiency in using spreadsheet programs (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel), presentation graphics software (Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides), and word processors (Google Docs or Microsoft Word)
- Project management certifications are an advantage
- Outstanding people skills and strong emotional intelligence
- Demonstratable discretion in all situations
- Attention to detail, highly organised
- Personable, confident and open
- Resilient and able to think and act appropriately at all times
- Creative approach to problem solving
- Proactive and attentive
- Experienced in efficiently balancing multiple tasks at any given time
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Solid knowledge and experience working with MS Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Tech savvy and the able to learn new software.
