The Role

 

Due to continued growth, Safetytech Accelerator is now looking for a new team member to join us as a Technology and Innovation Consultant to contribute both to the delivery of client projects and programmes, as well as support market development and business growth.

 

This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while driving meaningful innovation across a diverse range of clients. You’ll make a real difference by working for a mission-based organisation that drives technology adoption with a purpose.

 

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, early-career professional with a “can-do” attitude, resilience and a passion for technology-led innovation. They should be eager to join an agile, fast-paced venture ready to take on responsibility within a dynamic environment.

 

The role is centred around solving complex problems by leveraging innovative technologies.  It will range from evaluating technology solutions on the market, to delivering interactive workshops and providing expert advice to clients on digital strategy.  You will manage pilots and test new technologies to assess their impact and suitability to solve specific client problems.  The work is dynamic and will vary based on client needs, offering a unique opportunity for an individual to develop an already varied skillset.

 

 

Job Accountabilities

 

The role will evolve alongside business needs, but responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering or leading project assignments with key accounts.
  • Acting as the point of reference for both technical and business content on projects.
  • Overseeing feasibility studies, trials and pilots with technology vendors, including reporting and evaluation. 
  • Supporting the identification and development of new clients and business opportunities
  • Contributing to the impact, growth and financial sustainability of Safetytech Accelerator.

 

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar or closely related role is prefferred.
  • Experience in a client-facing role is preferred.
  • Highly organised, with strong foundations in project management and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of, or direct experience with, technology-enabled innovation.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively and analytically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A highly collaborative and likeable team player with a positive attitude.
