Then applying for the position of consultant for Performance Services at Lloyd's Register is a good idea! We are currently looking for someone to strengthen our team in Madrid.

 

What will you do

To assess complex problems for internal/external clients where the parameters are not well defined and to determine solutions were previous experience does not provide any precedent.

In details, your main responsibilities will be :

  • To perform complex and non-complex assessments, and provide specialist advice/solution and training to internal/external clients, research or development.
  • To produce the deliverable within the agreed parameters, in an appropriate format and within the agreed parameters that include timescale, budget constraints and contractual requirements.
  • To discuss/present the deliverable with the internal/external client at client and be able to suggest alternative solutions, where appropriate.
  • To create interests into the reference market, create leads, promote and communicate LR products and services to clients directly, and arrange appropriate visits, presentations and local seminars as required.
  • To Identify new business opportunities with specified clients and liaise with Sales to ensure opportunities are registered accordingly (Salesforce, Performance Product Codes).
  • To follow up leads received from technical delivery/customer service teams and work with clients and relevant internal stakeholders to define scope of works, prepare bids and see them through to execution.
  • To support the development of a profitable and sustainable sales growth at existent or new accounts, projects, and/or segments.
  • To support and represent Lloyd’s Register at industry events, local seminars and presentations as required.
  • To assess/recommend the time/value of the work to be undertaken for an internal/external client within an agreed fee / cost structure.
  • To perform data collection, analysis and presentation of reports, as required, aligned to the KPI’s and agreed processes.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Undertake administration as required in line with current processes and procedures.  To pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness.
  • To establish and maintain strong working relationships with customer services and technical delivery teams to ensure effective quoting and successful delivery of services to your clients.

 

What do we ask from you

 

  • Degree qualified or equivalent, with a technical background and a strong understanding of the TIC industry and service provider for manufacturing industries, with time spent in a related role.
  • To provide technical and commercial leadership within the responsibilities assigned
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to support the development of strategic action plans based on input from key people and information
  • Comfortable building professional relationships, with the ability to pro-actively drive development of a network of key relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within organizations and to influence successfully – both inside our organization and outside in the business
  • Demonstrate motivational skills in directing colleagues to achieve business objectives
  • Ability to work independent 
  • Ability to understand and assess complex and sometimes unfamiliar situations, visualize solutions and develop strategic action plans
  • Adaptable, flexible, patient and respond well to change
  • Fluent in Spanish and Proficiency in the English Language commensurate with the work
