What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Yachts Segment Manager to lead commercial growth across the Americas territory for Lloyd’s Register’s yachts segment. You will be responsible for driving revenue, margin, and market share growth across a portfolio of assigned accounts, acting as the primary client interface to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The role is focused on delivering growth through close client relationships, market insight, and disciplined sales execution, with an emphasis on expanding LR’s footprint across the yacht and superyacht market in the Americas.

The role

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing and targeted yacht and superyacht clients across the Americas territory.
  • Achieve defined sales, revenue, and margin targets for the assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, as well as upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned to market and segment strategy, ensuring commercial activity supports LR’s broader growth objectives.
  • Act as the primary client interface for assigned accounts, building trusted relationships and ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to support service delivery and win new opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform account strategy and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Support the development of proposals, quotations and commercial terms in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
  • Contribute to broader segment strategy and planning as part of the wider Yachts team.

 

What you bring

  • Solid commercial acumen and understanding of the marine or yacht market.
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients, building credibility across both technical and commercial conversations.
  • Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of winning and growing accounts.
  • Comfortable using a data-driven approach to pipeline management and sales performance.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to work across teams and functions to deliver client outcomes.
  • Experience in account management, business development, or commercial sales within the marine, yachting, or maritime sector.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities within a defined territory.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills across a range of stakeholders, from operational contacts to senior decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce for pipeline and account management.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider commercial team.
