We are now recruiting for a Business Development Advisor in our Monterrey, Mexico office. This is a highly visible, client facing role which will interact with new and existing customers in order to identify and generate new and profitable business for LR to meet its growth strategies and targets.


The successful candidate will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of need and ensures service excellence
  • Be highly adaptable at working within a team environment
  • Be able to provide examples of past experiences responding to and working with internal and external stakeholders


Key Responsibilities:

  • To generate new, profitable business for Lloyds Register in existing or new customers.
  • Identify and build excellent client relationships through proactive communication and action to fulfill client expectations and meet personal annual sales target.
  • Responsible for identifying and issuing quotations to meet the local and regional sales strategy and targets and adhering to Management Systems’ agreed contractual conditions and processes.
  • Qualify and respond to all leads and opportunities for new and existing clients in line with timescales and processes.



  • Proven experience in consultative selling role within a professional business services environment, to include: identifying and generating new leads, needs analysis, contract negotiations, pricing strategy development and pipeline management.
  • Knowledge of CRM is essential
  • Understanding and experience selling professional services; management systems certification or verification services a plus.
  • Degree or professional qualification is desirable.
  • Command of English language
  • MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Salesforce is required
