The role  

People first, the rest will follow.

Here is what your day-to-day in this role will look like:

• Software Development: Design, code, test, and maintain software solutions using the .NET framework and related technologies.
• Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest .NET technologies, tools, and best practices, and apply them to ongoing and new projects.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, database administrators, and quality assurance testers, to deliver high-quality software products.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software defects and performance issues, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Security: Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain the integrity of the applications.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the software.
• Agile Methodology: Work in an agile development environment, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
• Business Domain: Become an expert in the intricacies of the maritime world.    

  What you bring  

• You have experience developing high-scale usage web applications with latest frontend framework (Angular, React, VueJS)
• You have experience with Typescript or any other Javascript static typing language.
• Knowing flexbox or Electron is an asset
• You have experience building SaaS solutions in C# and .NET
• You have experience in DevOps practices (Azure DevOps an asset)
• Some experience with web mapping frameworks (Mapbox, Openlayers, Gmap) is an asset.
• You have demonstrated technological leadership and ownership in a professional environment
• You are comfortable with at least one Cloud platform (Azure an asset)
• You can work independently, are comfortable with technological exploration, questioning the status quo, and uncertainty

• Azure-Backed Cloud-native infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, IaC, …)
• Angular 16 with Typescript
• PWA and service worker packaged with Electron
• C# and .NET 6
• Web Services & RESTful API
• SQL relational databases
• Micro-Services architecture
• WPF Web Application
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps and Git
