We are looking for an experienced MDM Analyst join our expanding team! You will be key in supporting in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of Lloyd’s Register’s master data. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience with data management, modelling technologies and methodologies. Strong communication and collaboration skills are also important, as the role often involves working with cross-functional teams and interacting with business partners.

One of the core responsibilities will be documenting current dataflows within the organisation and making recommendations on optimisations and advising on contextualise data to create the business-required reporting. Assisting data cleansing operations will also be part of the scope when needed.

The role

  • Implement best-in-class processes in cooperation with external partners to support, maintain and develop the Data Orchestration platform ensuring that projects are completed on time, in budget and to the required quality standards with extensive documentation
  • Designing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency across the organisation
  • Maintain data quality: Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and conflicts and working with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Supporting change in MDM culture

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or comparable experience
  • Experience in data management, data governance, or a related field
  • Shall possess sufficient relevant previous working experience within IT departments. Has exposure to Agile processes and systems thinking
  • Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, data modelling, and data integration.
  • Strong knowledge of Database Architecture in relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with data management tools and technologies, such as data warehousing, ETL, and data visualisation tools
