The role

 

There is an exciting opportunity for a Security Consultant, or experienced Penetration Tester, to join our Pre-sales team at Nettitude.  

This role requires a highly motivated individual, who can work independently as well as working with our Sales, Technical, and Bid Management teams by delivering Pre-sales assistance to help close opportunities. This will be delivered both onsite in front of clients, when appropriate, as well as remotely via teleconferencing.

You will have responsibility for assisting the sales team by conducting types of activities such as scoping engagements, providing technical expertise for clients, being involved in bids and RFPs, and for larger requirements you will have responsibility for inputting technical content into proposals.

You must be personable and be able to work in harmony with all other personnel and to communicate in an open and courteous manner with colleagues and clients.

  

 

Location

 

This role is flexible with a requirement to attend client meetings and internal meetings, on an infrequent basis when appropriate. We can support working from across the US. All applicants will require residence in the US and a legal right to work in the US on an unrestricted basis. The role will require the person to travel to client sites when required, and to come into the office once or twice a month for sales cadence and team meetings.

 

 

What you will be doing in your role:

 

  • Identify client needs and review their requirements to promote appropriate services that will help clients achieve their objectives.
  • Take on technical pre-sales calls and meetings associated with assurance / penetration testing.
  • Provide accurate scoping information for the sales teams, project delivery team and for the testing consultants.
  • Provide technical due diligence information for incorporation into each sales proposal.
  • Establishing when assurance services and penetration testing would be appropriate for customers based upon their cyber security strategy.
  • Identify new opportunities from understanding clients’ cyber security strategies and current maturity.
  • Periodically develop and refresh the technical elements of sales proposals.
  • Construct and present tailored presentations to clients based on their requirements.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of the competitive environment.
  • Work closely with the Bid Team to provide support and input into RFP responses.
  • Work closely with relevant Nettitude teams including the technical assurance teams, sales teams and the project delivery team.

 

 

Key skills:

 

The following are the requirements for this role:

  • Having worked for a minimum of 3 years as a penetration tester in the last 5 years, ideally with internal infrastructure testing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Threat Intelligence Led testing and scenario driven testing, such as Red Teaming, would be desirable.
  • Holding technical assurance qualifications within the last 5 years, such as Offensive Security Certified Professional, CREST Certified Tester, CREST Registered Tester, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of wider infosec domain; CISSP, CISM certifications would be advantageous but not a necessity.
  • Remain up to date with specialist skills and market trends.
  • Undertake rudimentary training in other technical pre-sales specialism to provide cover as required.
  • Sales experience in the Cyber industry would be an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills would be required.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Being able to deal confidently with C-Level clients.
  • Carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the US on an unrestricted basis.
