In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our cutting-edge software solutions tailored to the maritime industry. The role 

 

  • Planning and executing account strategies in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director.
  • Build a sales pipeline of upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle in a consultative manner and meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Understand the market opportunity and develop a plan for the area.
  • Understand the customer’s specific needs through consultative discovery sessions to provide a tailored solution.
  • Build, negotiate, and agree on contracts on behalf of LR OneOcean.
  • Keep the customer engaged through account meetings to maintain a deep relationship and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) (Salesforce) to log sales activity, keep allocated accounts up to date with customer contact details, and ensure pipeline discipline working quickly on all customer communication, including leads.
  • Stay fully aware of product releases and stay in tune with the industry news and trends in order to educate customers on the solution to their problems.

 

Responsibilities:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research to identify potential clients, proactively reaching out to key decision-makers, and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our software solutions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to customize proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure seamless implementation for our clients.

 

 

What you bring 

 

  • Proven record of accomplishment in sales, ideally SaaS.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
  • A self-starter with a passion for exceeding targets in  fast-paced environments.
  • Adept at building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a history of driving sales through new business.
  • Able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Be willing and able to travel on a global basis.
  • Commercial acumen to reliably negotiate contracts.
  • Extremely literate in standard MS Office software packages
  • Training will be provided but the ability to quickly absorb information to understand and communicate USPs (Unique Selling Point) and product differentiation is essential.
