Bring your Class society, offshore certification, and engineering skills to our Marine and Offshore Surveyor role. You will be able to assess the design and production of in-service aspects of engineering assets by using procedures, experience, and knowledge appropriate for complex and demanding situations. The role may also include managing projects.

The role 

•    Conduct relevant activities, undertake project management and provide advice for service delivery within own area of experience, adhering to budget constraints and contractual requirements
•    To produce the deliverable to the agreed schedule, budget and quality levels within an appropriate format and take responsibility to review and monitor other employee’s work as requested
•    To discuss and present the deliverable with the internal / external client and be able to suggest solutions as necessary
•    Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards
•    To contribute to external client management; ensuring service delivery is continually improved through monitoring and acting on client feedback appropriately
•    Ensure the appropriate authorizations are gained and are kept up to date; this may involve Activity Monitoring

  
What you bring 

•    A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organization recognized by Lloyd’s Register within the relevant field of engineering or physical science
•    Membership of an appropriate professional institution (I. Engineering or equivalent)
•    To work in accordance with professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS01
•    To be able to apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to the analysis and solution of engineering problems
•    To provide technical and commercial leadership within the responsibilities assigned
