The recent acquisition of Nettitude strengthens LR’s existing broad portfolio of cyber security services spanning certification, compliance, training, auditing and security consulting to now include penetration testing, information security consulting, managed security services and incident response. Together, Nettitude and LR now provide a complete suite of cyber security assurance services to help clients identify, protect, detect, respond and recover from cyber threats.


In this newly created role, the Cyber Sales Manager will be responsible for selling the full line of business range of Nettitude’s products and services. By managing and developing key accounts, maintaining and developing long term relationships at different levels (including at an executive level) the cyber sales manager will maximise sales opportunities in line with the objectives of the Marine & Offshore business.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering revenue in line with assigned Sales Targets, by month, by quarter and across the sales year
  • Creating, maintaining,  and developing Key Account Plans for both existing and new accounts and ensure the highest levels of service provision
  • Managing Day Rates and Project Pricing in line with the stated pricing parameters of the business
  • Presenting the Nettitude Cyber Security Strategy to clients with the aim of stimulating a plan for the client to adopt a cyber security strategy for their business that can, in part or in whole, be supplied and serviced by Nettitude
  • Delivering a balanced performance in the Lines of Business commensurate with the Sales Target
  • Promoting and communicating LR products and services to clients directly, including proposal preparation and presentation
  • Providing regular weekly, monthly and quarterly accurate Forecasts using the CRM resource
  • Maintaining a comprehensive database of clients and monitor, report on, upload to system and disseminate as appropriate all client meetings and visits as well as all aspects of competitor activity for each client and general client activity
  • Liaising with clients to ensure relevant documentation is completed/returned (contracts, authorisation forms, account opening forms, etc) and be fully familiar with the Company Terms & Conditions and be able to explain the rationale for the various clauses as required
  • Managing queries and problems for the client relating to all areas of the business
  • Maintaining a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness by pursuing continuous professional development


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • Proven experience and track record in a similar role selling services and products related to cyber security.  May also be experienced in selling technology products to Chief Information Security Officer. 
  • Preferable experience in Infrastructure and Networking, Data and Data Analytics or Managed Services. 
  • Preferable demonstrable understanding of the shipping market and marine environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within organisations and to influence successfully and openly at all levels - both inside our organisation and outside in the business.
  • Ability to understand and assess complex and sometimes unfamiliar situations, visualise solutions and see through to resolution.
  • Enjoyment of building relationships, with the ability to pro-actively drive development of a network of key relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong commercial awareness. Ability to develop strategic action plans based on input from key persons.
  • Strong team spirit. Demonstrate professional people skills and promote a team working environment across the area of business.
  • Flexible approach to adjust role as the position develops.
