Role purpose:

To provide administration support against defined procedures with some discretion over priorities of workload. Undertakes a range of administrative activities and resolves queries for internal/external clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prioritise and process documentation/data/information in accordance with local business requirements and agreed deadlines.
  2. Data filing/entry in accordance with defined procedures.
  3. Deal with queries and build relationships with internal/external clients, as appropriate.
  4. To assist in service delivery improvement by communicating internal / external client feedback as appropriate.
  5. To act as Responsible Person and undertake project management where applicable including monitoring project progress and spend against budget and contract requirements.
  6. To responsible for the reply to the client as per the current requirement pertaining to the daily survey/audit request for Singapore and out ports


Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree Holder/Diploma Qualification with a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the marine/shipping industry
  • PC-Literate; high affinity to work with professional business system, Proficient in MS office application including word, excel and PowerPoint, access etc
  • Strong organisational skills, meticulous with ability to adapt and multi-tasking
  • Self-motivated with an aptitude to work without direct supervision and willing to take the initiative

  • Efficient time management with ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
  • Good Team player with abilities to take own initiatives to meet personal and business objectives
  • Commercial awareness and good client focus
