The role
As one of our experts you will assess the safety and integrity of our clients’ ships and offer sound technical advice on meeting industry standards. This means you will:
- Conduct and support existing ship surveys for both domestic and foreign flag vessels
- Deal with statutory surveys and certification and where applicable liaise with Flag or Port State Surveyors
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards
- Adhere to contractual requirements such as timeline and budget
- Provide a great customer experience by incorporating customer feedback into our service delivery
- Stay up to date with your knowledge via continuous professional development
What you bring
You will be a trusted advisor with sound technical knowledge and the ability to work without supervision, as well as having:
- A Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Engineering (i.e. Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering) Or Certificate of Competency Marine Engineer Officer Class 1 Foreign Going
- A strong understanding of Marine & Offshore business gained through experience in Marine Engineering or Inspection
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Proven experience managing clients
