What we’re looking for 

 

A professional business consultant and project manager for the marine industry. You will be part of a cross-functional team of passionate professionals, be the trusted advisor for clients to implement, and configure Docmap ship management solutions, as well as train the client’s shore crew. As an international organization, you will have good proficiency in the English

 

This role requires work authorization for the respective country.

The role 

 

  • Support Docmap (DM) clients in APAC and regularly initiate follow-up meetings and drive up and cross-selling opportunities for existing DM clients.
  • To be the Business Consultant in APAC, perform DM configurations, advise clients to optimize and grow clients’ utilization of DM
  • Be the Project Manager for all projects run by the DM APAC client base
  • To accurately input sales and key activities in OneOcean’s CRM system (SFDC).
  • To help and implement improvements in Customer Retention, Customer Satisfaction, Market Research and Competition Insight.
  • To manage projects with clients with the ability to present project timeline details and project costing. Managing internal resources to ensure timely deliverables.

 

  What you bring 

 

  • A degree or equivalent within information technology, maritime, or commercial subjects (minimum of two years program) or qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea-going experience.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive personality, with a natural desire to question and help drive positive change.
  • A team player, but with the strength of personality to act on occasion against the perceived wisdom     
  • Has a desire to build a commercially focused career.
  • To demonstrate effective interpersonal skills including communication in English at all levels.
