What we're looking for
This role works within a team of Contract and Bid Management professionals, and you will support on new and existing client opportunities as part of the sales process on behalf of Lloyd’s Register’s. Collaborating with our sales team and internal legal teams is essential in enabling you to prepare, review and negotiate relevant bid and contracts documentation as part of new and existing client relationships ensuring the process is efficient and meets both the client and business expectations.

The role
- To provide pro-active advice and support to the commercial community on all matters relevant to contract procedures.
- To assist and support the network with respect creation and review of client, sub-contractor, supplier and non-disclosure agreements
- Seek guidance and coordinate approvals from LR's Legal and Treasury departments in consideration of non-standard terms and performance guarantee submissions within a contract
- To ensure standardised procedures and streamlined processes are in place and followed. Review and update as appropriate in relevant databases, namely BMS.
- To assist with the development of competencies, methods and tactics, policies and guidelines which stimulate client loyalty and tighter contracting.
- To maintain and update the suite of approved documents and support sales network in using them.
- Ensuring legal and liability standard guidelines are covered under all contracts and risk / liability position is consistent across all contracts in alignment with Commercial Bid Notice.
- Contract management and administration

What you bring
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
- Understanding of the principles English Law as it pertains to legal contracts
- Fluent written and spoken English (and local language, as applicable) with ability to liaise effectively with internal and external personnel.
- Analytical Skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi task
- Ability to support the team towards meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Computer literate in MS Office.
