Role purpose:

To provide high quality FP&A support and analysis at a global level across Global Functions and Group Programmes. Key responsibilities include consolidation and reporting of monthly management accounts and the budget and forecast process.


To review, standardise and improve the level of central reporting across Group FP&A utilising available group reporting tools including BPC, ByD and Power BI.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Key liaison point with the FD of Global Functions and the Global Functions finance team.
  • Ownership of the monthly consolidation and analysis of global Group Functions and Group Programmes.
  • Production of the monthly Global Functions financial results performance report and ELT decks.
  • Production of the quarterly business review packs for Global Functions working closely with the Group Functions Finance Director.
  • Ownership of the budget, forecast and LRM (5-year plan) process for Global Functions and Group Programmes, ensuring reporting and systems are set up to enable a smooth process.
  • Provide insightful high-quality analysis relating to all areas of Group Reporting as required, including for the board report and ELT presentations.
  • Drive significant improvements and standardisation across all of Group Reporting through available tools including BPC, Power BI and ByD.
  • Drive cashflow and balance sheet forecast process and review
  • Review and support of the annual goodwill impairment process ad group bonus calculation for year end
  • Support on tax and non-operating forecasts and budget process and analysis
  • Liaise closely with Group Statutory reporting to ensure close alignment and understanding between statutory and management reporting.
  • Provide cross team support across the Group FP&A reporting team as required.
  • Ad hoc support on other projects and areas of Group FP&A as required.
  • Review and set up process for BPC structure and version control
  • To pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • To mentor/coach other employees, as appropriate, to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application.


Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • High level of IT literacy – SAP ByD experience advantageous
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Experience in Power BI or similar.
  • Experience of working in an FP&A environment
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
